Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical series. When she turned 18 in the year she moved to New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to traditional Jewish traditions. However, very quickly, she became active in the club scene, making enough splashes to get recognized by the media, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. Her experience and fame, along with her personal education to write and present a program called Positive Me. Her first gig was with MTV as anchor of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. Once the program was over, she went on to do film and television productions. Her first job was in smaller roles, and then became established in the process of becoming an actor.
