Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Her most recognizable character is Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's produced, directed and starred for her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson is her sibling and a talented artist.
