Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez an American/Cuban TV arbitrator with Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old accompanied by family members. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the host and producer for Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado" one of the most popular Spanish-language shows that the channel airs. The show was nominated for one of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. The show was ranked as the highest across all demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. Following her graduation the Florida International University's Political science program, she moved to Havana and lived there for twenty years. Later, she earned her PhD degree in law at the University of Miami. Then she earned her PhD in law from the University of Miami, and then practiced for twenty years in Miami. Polo's legal knowledge was used in other court shows and Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001, as well as on the show Sala de Parejas. Literature Works and Accolades Her novel from 1958 Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain to her home in the United States 1960. Polo regularly speaks, and she helps raise money to support the cause. Polo has been a vocal activist for LGBT rights her entire career. She holds a law degree at the University of Miami School of Law in Florida, and is also a Florida Bar Member.
